Warner Electric’s ERX electromagnetic brakes are highly customizable – available in compact, easy-to-install single and double brake setups with optional enclosure protection, Warner Electric Sensor (WES) for contactless detection, and redundancy options to suit specific project requirements. The ERX Brake is used in wind turbines to ensure controlled stopping for emergency braking or maintenance procedures, allowing for enhanced safety and precision control of turbine blades. Three proprietary nonstick friction materials allow for project customization to meet energy, speed, and torque (5-75 Nm).
