Universal Control Case (UCCase/m)

Smart technology support

The portable control case serves as a versatile tool for remote support and data visualization during commissioning or service of Svendborg Brakes brake systems within wind turbines, including Hydraulic Power Units such as the 2-stage and On/Off units. The primary data input is the brake-side pressure, obtained from the included pressure transmitters. With its built-in WiFi hotspot, the case provides seamless internet access through a secure gateway, ensuring trouble-free connectivity.

Data collected from sensors is either stored in the cloud or can be directly displayed on the screen for real-time analysis. This enables maintenance personnel to visualize the performance of the brake system and diagnose any potential issues. By coupling visualization with analytical models, the tool facilitates the prediction of brake system behavior and offers recommendations for preventive action to mitigate the risk of malfunction. This IIoT tool enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance and monitoring processes for wind turbine brake systems.
